“Gazi University Child Science and Art Festival”, organized for the first time by the Pedriatric Development Research, Application and Education Center (ÇOGAUM) and Gazi Faculty of Education, Department of Basic Education Division of Preschool Education, was held on the central campus.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Bekir Buluç, Gazi  Faculty of Education Dean Prof. Dr. Mahmut Selvi, Director of ÇOGAUM Prof. Dr. Hatice Bekir, Vice Secretary-Genereal Raşit Yıldırım, academic staff, kindergartens affiliated to ÇOGAUM, preschool and primary school students in Ankara, teachers and parents attended the festival, which included stands suitable for the age, development and interests of the children in the fields of science, drama, technology, visual arts, mathematics, biology, music, robotic coding, intelligence games, reasoning, painting and astronomy,

The children had the opportunity to learn outside of the school by examining the materials and  participating in the excercises at the stands prepared within the scope of the festival under the guidance of volunteer undergraduate students.
